About RegioJet
RegioJet is Central Europe's leading private open-access rail operator, instantly recognisable by its bright yellow trains. Part of the Student Agency Group, RegioJet launched its first train service in 2011 on the Prague–Ostrava route, directly competing with state-owned Czech Railways. The company has since expanded internationally, connecting Prague with Vienna (since 2017), Budapest (since 2020), and entering the Polish market with Kraków–Warsaw services.
What sets RegioJet apart is its airline-inspired service model. Every ticket includes a reserved seat with complimentary Illy coffee, fresh mint tea, and bottled water served by on-board attendants in Standard, Relax, and Business classes. The flagship Astra coaches feature seat-back entertainment screens, leather seats, and a level of comfort that rivals premium services at a fraction of the price.
RegioJet offers four travel classes to suit every budget, from budget-friendly Low Cost seats to private Business compartments with complimentary sparkling wine. All trains feature free WiFi and air conditioning. RegioJet also operates passenger lounges with free coffee and WiFi at Prague main station and Vienna Hauptbahnhof, available to all ticket holders before departure.
