Travel from Paris to Amsterdam by high-speed Eurostar train in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Direct services run up to 10 times daily between Paris Gare du Nord and Amsterdam Centraal, reaching speeds of up to 300 km/h on dedicated high-speed tracks across France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Eurostar operates all direct services on this route following the 2023 merger with Thalys. The journey covers 527 km by rail, with intermediate stops at Schiphol Airport, Rotterdam Centraal, Antwerpen Centraal and Brussels Zuid/Midi.
Tickets start from €35 per person one way in Eurostar Standard class. Three classes of service are available: Standard, Plus (with light meal included) and Business Premier (with lounge access and at-seat dining).

Good to Know
Eurostar Rebranding
Since late 2023, all Paris–Amsterdam high-speed services are operated under the Eurostar brand following the merger of Eurostar and Thalys. You may still see references to “Thalys” in older materials, but the service, staff and trains are now unified under Eurostar.
Travel Documents
No passport control exists on the Paris–Amsterdam route. However, carrying a valid passport or national ID card is recommended, as random identity checks may occur on cross-border services.
Business Premier — Netherlands Restriction
If travelling to or from the Netherlands on a Business Premier ticket, exchanges and cancellations must be made before the departure date. This is a carrier-specific rule that differs from other Eurostar routes, where Business Premier tickets can be changed up to 60 days after departure.
Pets
Pets are not permitted on Eurostar services (assistance dogs excepted).
Arriving at the Station
Eurostar recommends arriving 20 minutes before departure for Paris–Amsterdam services. There is no formal check-in — scan the QR code on your ticket at the platform gates. A light security screening is in place at Paris Gare du Nord.
