The route follows the Rhône Valley southward through France, passes through the Languedoc region near Nîmes and Montpellier, then crosses the Pyrenees via the high-speed tunnel between Perpignan and Figueres. In Spain, the train continues via Girona to Barcelona. Depending on the service, intermediate stops are available at several cities along the way.
